Castle Group Ireland successfully completed fit-out works on the new 96-bed inpatient block at University Hospital Limerick.

This significant healthcare development was designed to enhance patient care capacity and provide modern, high-quality clinical accommodation within one of Ireland’s busiest hospitals. The project required precision, coordination, and strict adherence to healthcare construction standards throughout all phases of delivery.

The scope of work included external SFS infill to support the facade, as well as encasement of structural steelwork for fire protection. Internally, Castle provided partitions using Kemwell encasements for structural steel fire protection, Gyproc partitions and ceilings. The project also involved the installation of SAS and Zentia ceilings, along with skimming to achieve high-quality finishes throughout the hospital spaces.
