The NUIG Engineering Building project, managed by BAM, consolidates five engineering faculties into a cutting-edge facility on campus. Spanning four storeys and covering 14,250 sqm, the building houses 400 rooms, designed not only for functionality but also as an educational showcase with exposed construction techniques and ecological building methods. Recognised with the Public's Choice award in the RIAI Awards, the facility embodies innovation and sustainability. Castle Group's role included installing partitions, various ceiling systems for acoustic enhancement and aesthetic appeal, timber cladding for warmth, and SAS Chill Beams for energy-efficient climate control, showcasing our commitment to delivering superior fit-outs in support of educational excellence and architectural distinction.
