Castle Group was contracted to deliver various components, including modular offerings on this project. The scope of work included Gyproc partitions and ceilings, Zentia ceilings, standalone modular offices, volumetric modular meeting rooms and welfare spaces, and taping and jointing.

Offsite 3D volumetric units were designed and manufactured in the Castle Group Modular Factory in Galway, delivered to the facility with 60% of the work already completed, and then integrated into the building to create admin and growning areas. The modularisation of these spaces allowed the MEP contractors to have control of this space for an extended period during the project to complete their works before the modular units were installed below the completed services finalising the space. This approach led to a significant reduction in onsite punch lists, a 90% reduction in waste, and areas kept free as staging points for M&E works for longer periods. Additionally, it removed thousands of man-hours from the site, reducing infection control issues related to COVID-19.
