The new Benedictine monastery at Kylemore Abbey aims to preserve the sanctity and privacy of the Benedictine sisters who have resided at Kylemore Abbey since 1920.

Castle Group was contracted to supply Gyproc partitions and ceilings for the new monastery, the first to be built in 100 years. This project involved intricate details, including curved ceilings and partitions, to reflect traditional monastic design. The skimming and other finishes have been carefully considered to remain sensitive to the building's heritage, ensuring that the new structure harmonises with the historic abbey design.
